This perfect polka dot shirt is great for any occasion. It’s a simple, casual look without the blazer, but throw it on, and you’re ready for a night out! I’m a fan of versatile outfits that can be worn to work but are also fun options for later in the evening.
The best part is that it’s on SALE.
Shirt from Madewell.
One of the things I love most when traveling is taking photos of beautiful buildings and bikes. Some buildings are so distinct that you can’t help but stop for a second to take a photo. And the perfect bike sitting adjacent outside makes the photo that much more idyllic.
Both represent an average day in ordinary life. A building being a place in which to reside or work and a bike being a means to get from point A to point B; yet, these ordinary things make for extraordinary photography.
Saturday mornings are best spent listening to music. Here are a few of my current favorites.
- “Paranoia” by Max Frost (see video below)
- “Falling Short” by Låpsley
- “Violently Wild” by Horse Feathers
- “Would You Want Me” by Generationals
- “Looking Too Closely” by Fink
- “Archie, Marry Me” by Alvvays
- “Hunger of the Pines” by Alt J
- “Young Rivals” by Night Drive
Most anticipated upcoming concert: An Evening with Pete Yorn. He will be playing an acoustic set at the Parish on February 17. Max Frost and Generationals will also be playing this month and next at the Parish. Head over here to purchase tickets.
Looking for a unique, fancy dress? I love this dress for many reasons, the main one being the way it flows. The sleeves and bottom create an elegant look. Don’t miss that hemline. I also love the simple gold buttons on the back and sleeves of the dress.
The best part of all is that it is 50% off!
Dress from Dear Creatures.
I love this little skirt. Mainly because of the bicycles along the bottom. It definitely fits that modern vintage look that I swoon over. Adorable!
Skirt from Comme Toi. Necklace from World Market.
